Stepping Stones
This little guy was right next to the tires of my car. I got a leaf and moved it into a tree so I wouldn’t crush it. Before I moved it, I of course took a picture with my iPhone. The growth and development of a butterfly is amazing. It starts off as an egg and grows into an ugly little caterpillar. After crawling around and doing what caterpillars do, they continue their development into a cocoon. Once fully developed, they became a butterfly.
I woke up really early Saturday so I can take pictures at a wedding. It was the first wedding I have shot in over a year and I am going to be honest with you; Sometimes I wish I can be like a caterpillar. I want to sleep in a cocoon for a few days or sometimes even a month. As it turns out, that isn’t how the life of a human being works. We are only able to stay in bed for a few hours. The struggle to leave the bed is what helps you stay strong. The motivation to finish the day so you can get back to bed is always in your subconscious. However, waking up every morning and achieving your dreams is what makes you beautiful. Never give up and always strive to fly; like a butterfly.
